For a client, a bioscience company, a global leader in development and manufacturing of natural solutions for the food, nutritional, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries, we are looking for a candidate for a newly established position of an EMEA Commercial Analyst. The position is directly subordinate to the Head of Sales EMEA.

The client is located closed to Brno, Czech Republic. The position will require cca 50% of travel within EMEA, mostly Vienna and the Northern Europe.

The position is considered as a starting point for a future development to a Territory Manager.

Job Description

  • Very close cooperation with the EMEA Head
  • Preparation of regular reports on KPIs, results, etc. using SAP BI and
  • Participation in budgets and forecasts preparation and evaluation
  • Preparation of business reviews
  • Support of the EMEA team in decision making process for business initiatives by ensuring correct data analysis and assessment, risk identification and mitigation
  • Close cooperation with the Finance department
  • Development of strategic solutions and services aiming at improvement of the sales results and sales operations
  • Participation in strategic sales projects, project management, management of a portfolio of projects
  • Change management
  • Coordination of the EMEA sales team activities, organization of meetings
  • Representation of the EMEA Head at meetings (external and internal)
  • Participation in regional marketing activities, responsibility for marketing materials, cooperation with the local suppliers (marketing agencies)


  • University degree in the area of pharmacy, veterinary, agriculture, bioscience / biotechnology or similar, degree in economics is also acceptable
  • Experience within an international pharmaceutical, biotech, bioscience or agricultural company
  • Min. 2 years of experience in the area of sales and marketing
  • Experience in sales and business analyses (sales results, KPIs, budget, etc)
  • Excellent analytical skills, excellent knowledge of using MS Excel (pivot tables, etc)
  • Experience in project management
  • Fluent English, knowledge of another additional language is an advantage 
  • Strong business and client orientation, business thinking

  • Ability to work independently without a strong supervision

  • Willingness to travel (cca 50% of travel within EMEA, mainly Vienna and Northern Europe)
